National Training Workshop for HIV
National Training Workshop on Peer-led Participatory Health Promotion for HIV
In 2017, Parwaz developed a theory-informed behavior change framework to inform a training curriculum aimed at improving skills of peer educators of community-based organizations for promoting uptake of HIV testing services for HIV by key populations at risk, particularly youth, in Sindh and Punjab provinces. The intervention was developed in collaboration with Health Policy and Practice Program at the George Washington University (GWU), with funding support from Gilead. The training workshop was attended by 40 peer educators and their supervisors from all six CBOs nationwide and facilitated by Parwaz in Karachi.
